Giffords Circus is delighted to return to Stonor Park in 2022. It is thanks to owners the Hon. William and Lady Ailsa Stonor, whose family have owned Stonor Park for over 850 years, for welcoming us to this hidden valley on the border between Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Stonor Park and Gardens are beautiful and are open to visitors, we recommend combining your visit to the circus with a potter around the gardens and a play in the amazing playground Tumblestone Hollow – but please if you see Tweedy playing there, do send him back to the circus!

Parking
Parking is in the grounds next to the circus, please follow directions and park sensibly. For those with limited mobility we reserve a limited amount of blue badge parking nearer the tent, please let the car park attendant know if you need to park as near as possible and they will show you where to go.
Location
Giffords Circus is located within the grounds of Stonor Park, just north off Henley-on-Thames, on the B480.
Directions
From Henley-on-Thames train station, take the A4155 northbound onto Bell Street (A4130). Then take the second and first exits at the double roundabout (Still A4130). Continue until you reach a right turn onto the B480. Pass through the villages of Lower and Middle Assendon and continue through Stonor. The entrance gate to Stonor Park will be on the right. Once inside the park follow signs/directions for Giffords Circus where you will be directed where to park.

After more than 552 and a half years of careful negotiation between the Stonor Family and the people of Tumblestone Hollow, they have agreed to allow us into their wonderful world. For young and old it’s a beautiful, magical place to play together.
