Circus Sauce is our unique 70-cover travelling restaurant, offering a dining experience like no other.

Circus Sauce is our unique 70-seat restaurant that follows the circus to each ground. Started in 2003, it is the UK’s only travelling restaurant. The restaurant is housed in two magnificent showman's wagons with a wonderful awning lined with old tapestries and grand candle lit oak tables set up with Bridgewater crookery and mis-matched bone-handled cutlery.

Everything is prepared from scratch - our food is seasonal and totally unique. We support all the local smallholdings, loyalty boxes, farms, fishmongers, butchers and greengrocers we can find.

After the evening performance, come straight into the Circus Sauce tent from the big top for a set 3-course banquet made with locally sourced ingredients from the area. The menu may have trout gravadlax, Cullen Skink, chicken and truffle suet pie, Stargazey pie, Knickerbocker glory or treacle pudding. The evening service also allows for a little entertainment from the chefs!

New for 2019 we will be putting on a 1pm lunch service between the 11am and 2.30pm shows, on both Saturdays and Sundays. The food will include seasonal salads, fresh pasta and rhubarb fool, and on Sunday it will be a traditional roast with all the trimmings.

Other food options

The Circus Sauce Café and the Pizza Wagon are open 45 minutes before the start of a show offering tea, coffee, delicious freshly prepared take away food such as pulled pork baps, loaded fries and tempura veg. Confectionery and ice-cream is available in abundance from the Sweet Tent.

During the interval Circus Sauce also provides a selection of their yummy daily baked cakes.
