Tweedy visited the Family Space in Hester’s Way, Cheltenham for a pop-up performance yesterday and to present the charity with a cheque from Giffords Circus for £500 towards their work in the local community.
Tweedy visited St. Barnabus church hall in Hester’s Way to entertain over 200 children, parents and carers that regularly visit local charity, the Family Space.
“We want to thank Giffords Circus for their support and Tweedy for coming this afternoon to perform for our families, said Sarah Avery, Manager at the Family Space.
“Families in our local area value coming to an event such as this as they often don’t have the opportunity to visit events such as Giffords Circus. As manager of Family Space, it’s been incredible to host Tweedy and see him perform to us. Thank you so much.”
Giffords Circus is passionate about supporting local schools and charities and chose to support the Family Space in Cheltenham after learning about all the great work that it does for local families.
“I live locally so was delighted to be invited to perform at the Family Space, said Tweedy.
“The children were great fun and really lively and it was great to meet so many families that make use of this vital community resource and represent Giffords Circus in presenting a cheque for £500 towards their work.”
