Giffords Circus 2019 Shows:
Directions, Parking and Facilities

Thank you for purchasing tickets to Giffords Circus. The particular venue details (and postcodes for satnavs) are detailed below. Please check tickets carefully as mistakes cannot be rectified at the venue on the day and tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE.

The Show

The show is performed in a white waterproof tent and lasts for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (inc a 15 min interval). Customers are advised to arrive half an hour before show time, as this is when the doors open. Seating is unreserved. You should show your tickets to the Giffords Circus staff at the entrance of the tent before you go in. The seating consists of wooden benches. The show is suitable for all ages. There are no strobes or excessively loud bangs. Children under 3 years of age do not need a ticket if they sit on a lap.

Wheelchairs and those with Disabilities

Front of house circus staff are available to lend a helping hand to customers with disabilities, if they should require it. Those customers in wheelchairs must arrive at least half an hour before a show. Grounds are usually suitable for wheelchairs, however in the case of rain and/or possible flooding, wheelchairs can be lifted by front of house support. Wheelchair/disabled access is on ground level - go to FoH staff on the left hand side of the tent. They will assist. Carers may not necessarily be seated with w/c users - it depends on space on the day.

There are two blocks of loos at the circus, each with three individual units. There is also one disabled porta loo (which can also be used for baby changing).

Giffords Circus Sauce Restaurant

Circus customers have the option to dine at the circus after all evening performances, with one lunch service at each ground during the summer holidays. The meal must be booked in advance by telephoning our Booking Office at the Everyman Theatre on 01242 691181. The cost is £30 per adult (£35 London) and £15 per child, under 14 years old, (£20 London) for a 3 course meal. Customers can book out the whole restaurant exclusively for a special price – phone Booking Office for details. The meal is a set menu using local produce and the Giffords Restaurant Manager will telephone before the date to check on any food allergies. It is your responsibility to notify Giffords of any allergies before your visit, or they will accept no responsibility for consequences.

The restaurant is not licensed so customers are welcome to bring their own drinks/wine etc.

Terms and Conditions

Tickets cannot be refunded but can be changed for another performance. One weeks' notice is required for exchanges and there is a charge of £2.00 per ticket.

PLEASE NOTE: Debit on your statement from card will appear as Everyman Theatre, NOT Giffords Circus.
