At the start of the season, we were incredibly fortunate and excited to have the opportunity of working with the renowned photographer Jonathan West. He took some fabulous images capturing the preparation, creation and communal destruction of many of our signature dishes. Jonathan also helped us launch Field Food - "fast food from the fields". We have been producing quick fresh take away food before the shows and during the intervals. It is perfect fayre for a picnic, and has offered our audiences an alternative (and often supplement) to our ever popular pizzas. Of course our homemade cakes accompanied by a cuppa served from an enormous Emma Bridgewater teapot remains a regular feature.
Lots of culinary additions to be proud about, on top of our Circus Sauce meal. This has established itself as an event of its own, driven by its own notoriety. And hard work by the loyal chefs, not to mention the not-to-be-missed tomfoolery that is the Kitchenettes show!
