DIRECTIONS TO GIFFORDS CIRCUS 2010 VENUES

Gloucester (Thur 20 May – Mon 24 May)
Llanthony Priory, Llanthony Road, Gloucester
From A40 Gloucester Northern Bypass, turn onto Over Causeway at roundabout (A417).Turn right on to A430 Hempsted Bypass, then first left after the traffic lights into the circus ground.

Hay on Wye Festival (Fri 28 May – Mon 7 June)
The Castle Grounds, Hay on Wye, Wales
Hay on Wye is situated just off the A438 between Brecon and Hereford. The nearest railway station is Hereford. There is a bus service from Hereford to Hay. The Castle is in the town and access is from the Oxford Road (B4348).

Cheltenham (Thur 10 June – Mon 14 June)
Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Road, Prestbury, is situated North of the town centre, accessible from all directions by following the tourist signs.

Broadway (Thur 17 June – Mon 21 June)
Kennel Field, Broadway
Broadway is to the North East of Cheltenham and South East of Evesham in Worcestershire and is signposted from the A44 and B4632. The circus will be located on Kennel Field on the High Street.

Tackley (Thur 24 June – Mon 28 June)
Village Green, Tackley
Tackley is 9 miles west of Bicester and north of Oxford. The circus will be located on the village green, off Church Hill road, south of the village.

Stadhampton (Thur 1 July – Mon 5 July)
Village Green, Stadhampton
Stadhampton is located 4 miles south east of Oxford on the A329 Wanborough to Thame Road. The circus can be found at the northern part of the village on the Village Green.

Lechlade (Thur 8 July – Mon 12 July)
At the back of the Trout Inn, St John’s Bridge, Lechlade on Thames, Glos GL7 3HA
Lechlade is on the A361 Swindon to Burford road. Go through Lechlade: from the north side, turn left, direction ‘Faringdon’.

Barrington (Thur 15 July – Mon 26 July)
Directly opposite the Fox Inn, Great Barrington, Burford, Oxon OX18 4TB
Take the A40 from Oxford to Cheltenham. Half an hour from Oxford, turn right, direction the Barringtons and the Rissingtons. Go through Little Barrington, the Fox Inn will be on the left, just after the Coach & Horses pub.

Frampton on Severn (Thur 29 July – Sun 1 Aug)
Nr to the manor Farm, Frampton Court Estate, Frampton on Severn. GL2 7EP
Off the A38 from Gloucester, take the B4071 towards Frampton on Severn. The circus is situated on the village green on the left hand side.

Minchinhampton (Wed 4 Aug – Tue 17 Aug)
Nr to The Rose and Crown Pub, High Street, Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire
Take the A419 from Cirencester to Stroud. As Aston Down, go left for Minchinhampton. Drive into the small village of Minchinhampton. The Crown Inn is on the corner. Drive up the road at the side of the pub. Follow the road around. The circus is situated opposite the church on the common.

Marlborough Common (Fri 20 Aug – Tue 31 Aug)
Nr to the High Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire SN8 1AA
Marlborough is 10 miles south of junction 15 on the M4, off the A346. The common is at the top of town on the Swindon side by the playing fields.

Cirencester (Sat 4 Sept – Sun 12 Sept)
Nr to the Mitsubishi Garage, Gloucester Road, Stratton, Cirencester GL7 2JX
Take the A417 towards Gloucester. We are on the right by the Mitsubishi Garage, half a mile from Cirencester town centre.
