Pizza Chef de Party (2nd May -26th Sept)
In charge of pizza wagon section. Organising prep for the pizzas and the making of them each day, full training given, but previous experience a bonus. Maintaining the quality we have produced over the past few years. Spending a shift in the restaurant each week to help improve progression in catering. Maintaining an outstanding level of food hygiene, health and safety and first aid .
Waiter/ress (2nd May -26th Sept)
Second in command of front of house and in charge of the restaurant when the manager is not present. Taking food to the table and helping the chefs ensure the food is hot and special dietary requirement meals taken to the correct people. Assisting in the build and the setup of the restaurant, making sure the décor is put together properly. Ensuring the glasses, cutlery and crockery are clean and polished with the setup of the restaurant complete when customers enter. Monitoring the intervals ensuring pastry chef is aware of the baked goods needed, urns on and drinks set up without fail. Maintaining an outstanding level of food hygiene, health and safety and first aid.
Giffords Circus Art Department needs you!
This year’s show ‘Any Port in a Storm’ is dark, painterly and decorative. It delves into the world of baroque art and we need help bringing this to life. We are delighted to announce that our Art department is looking for interns to work at our Gloucestershire site on scenic painting and prop making for our 2017 show. You will shadow our Head of Art through her day to day activities and perform basic general tasks under supervision. Work will include:
We require an onsite Handyman to tour with us for the whole season from April until end of September. You will be an extremely important member of the team and your skills in high demand on tour. You will need to be able to work as part of the team consisting of different nationals but also be able to work alone and prioritise your tasks using a common sense approach to identify what is an urgent issue and ongoing repair jobs. Experience in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing or electrical work desirable.
